About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our Estates department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building services and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance staff to ensure effective delivery of maintenance services.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Identify and report any maintenance-related issues or concerns to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve maintenance efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in a healthcare or similar environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards, with the ability to ensure compliance in all aspects of maintenance activities.
