About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Bioresources team at Severn Trent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance on a wide range of mechanical Bioresources assets across multiple sites in Staffordshire and Shropshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform fault diagnostics and repairs on mechanical Bioresources assets.
  • Complete multi-skill electrical training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Support Severn Trent's drive to improve safety standards and ensure all activities are performed in a safe and diligent manner.
  • Participate in a standby rota to provide flexibility and support to the team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A time-served apprenticeship in a relevant trade.
  • Experience in fault finding of mechanical wastewater and anaerobic digestion assets.
  • Knowledge of process control systems and industrial equipment, such as mechanical drives, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.
  • A basic knowledge of industrial electrical installation requirements/standards and an NVQ level in mechanical qualification.
  • A Full UK Driving License.
