Role Overview

We are excited to be growing our Industrial and Manufacturing Cost Management team. We are seeking a Project Cost Consultant to join us in delivering high-profile manufacturing facilities for global clients.

As part of our Cost Management team, you will be involved in a wide range of projects, from global and high-profile to small and impactful, ensuring they are delivered on time and to budget. Your expertise in planning, estimating, budgeting, and managing costs will drive growth and smarter working.

We work with clients worldwide to create, support, and enhance smart, safe, and sustainable places where people live, work, learn, and thrive. Our facilities have a significant impact on the quality of people's lives, and we deliver as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team to amaze our clients.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will deliver our professional Quantity Surveying and Cost Management services to multinational and UK clients, working on large industrial buildings, manufacturing facilities, and gigafactories across the UK and Europe.

You will have the opportunity to work on projects from inception through to completion. Day-to-day activities will include working on cost estimates/feasibilities, benchmarking, and the procurement process, reviewing and agreeing contractor proposals, and contract management during the post-contract stage.

You will be supported to develop your career within a collaborative team environment and will have the opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team who are passionate about delivery and excellent service for a positive outcome for our clients.

Requirements

  • MRICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor (or near attainment)
  • Pre and post-contract experience
  • Passionate about driving innovation in service and delivering exceptional results
  • Experience leading lower-value/complexity projects
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Some experience with Digital Cost Management and CostX, 5D BIM, and Benchmarking tools
