Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will actively contribute to a team focused on addressing challenges within the banking sector, enhancing business operations, and identifying automation prospects to streamline processes and elevate both customer and user experiences, particularly in branch environments.
Key Responsibilities:
On a daily basis, you will engage directly with architects, business analysts, and client banks to gather business requirements, clarify expectations, and design optimized workflows, ensuring high-quality outcomes in deliverables. You will leverage advanced banking and BPMN technologies to create visual process definitions directly within the systems.
Qualifications:
- At least 6 years of experience in banking business analysis or relevant banking roles.
- Proficient in analyzing and illustrating business and technology process flows.
- Skilled in translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
- Adept at identifying risks and formulating mitigation strategies.
- Comprehension of product architecture and design best practices, with the ability to present solutions effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of Teller and Branch transformations.
- Strong understanding of banking processes.
- Basic proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with the implementation and configuration of enterprise systems (CRM, PSA, ERP).
- Basic understanding of data model implementation and cloud solutions (AWS/Azure).
- Knowledge of AML, GDPR, and FCA regulations.
- Willingness to travel for client engagements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of the complete software development lifecycle.
- Experience in software implementation projects as a business analyst or functional consultant.
- Familiarity with SAP Banking.
- Knowledge of technology principles underpinning banking systems.
- Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience with BPMN engines (e.g., Camunda).
- Experience working in diverse, multicultural teams across various time zones.
