Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Buxton, Derbyshire. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities, performing routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting equipment issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal production levels
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement repairs or replacements as needed
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve production-related issues
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A strong background in maintenance engineering with experience in a similar industryExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including shift work and weekends
