Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client's team, responsible for securely transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safe driving, maintaining accurate paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Handle runs efficiently, prioritizing safe driving and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck, as required.
  • Interact with customers and represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
  • Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Willingness to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety-first mindset.

Working Conditions:

  • Day and night shifts available.
  • Up to 5/6 shifts per week, including weekends.

Pay and Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate: £14.80-£16.30 per hour.
