Facilities Management Position

Expert Employment seeks a skilled Facilities Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day activities of our facilities and site services team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the facilities and site service team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate facilities activities to ensure smooth program implementation
  • Oversee facilities maintenance and repairs, including equipment and building systems
  • Ensure facilities are kept tidy and functional, and machine shop fabrication, including welding, is performed to support test sites and new infrastructure
  • Develop and implement housekeeping programs to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Collaborate with the Head of Test, Facilities & Safety to ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

  • Practical experience with welding, plumbing, carpentry, and fabrication
  • Knowledge of machine shop equipment, such as lathes, band and chop saws, pillar drills, grinders, etc.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
