Job Title: Montessori Teacher

Job Summary:

Innovation Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Montessori Teacher to join our team at a North London based Montessori school. As a Montessori Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering an inclusive Montessori curriculum suitable for children aged 2.5-5 years old.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver a high-quality Montessori curriculum that meets the individual needs of children.
  • Ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, and social care and education for children.
  • Implement the Early Years Foundation Stage and ensure all children's individual needs are met and all areas of development are encouraged through play.
  • Observe and assess children's development and keep accurate records of their achievements.

Requirements:

  • Montessori Early Childhood Teaching Diploma.
  • First Aid training is desirable.
  • Detailed knowledge of the Montessori approach is essential.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of the EYFS is essential.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted guidelines and Welfare requirements is essential.
  • A detailed understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection is essential.
  • Considerable relevant experience of the age range years is desirable.

Working Hours:

The Montessori Teacher will work 8 hours per day on a variable shift basis, Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week.
