Position: Senior IT Business Consultant (SAP) - Manufacturing

Location: South East
Salary: Up to £70,000 + Bonus
Work Arrangement: Primarily onsite with some hybrid flexibility

Overview:
As a Senior IT Business Consultant, you will serve as a pivotal link between the IT department and the manufacturing teams. Your role will involve analyzing, documenting, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance the Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Proficiency in SAP is crucial for optimizing resource efficiency and cost-effectiveness in processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with essential stakeholders to define and refine business processes, leveraging technology to drive success.
  • Develop comprehensive business cases, diagnostics, and project plans to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Assist in evaluating and implementing process enhancements, including managing change and training needs.
  • Coordinate meetings and workshops with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant implementation of changes.
  • Create clear and effective documentation, including business process maps and training materials, to communicate outcomes.
  • Oversee project coordination, track progress, and assess risks.
  • Generate and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business objectives.
  • Demonstrate proven experience as a business analyst within the manufacturing sector, focusing on continuous process improvement.
  • Utilize SAP effectively as a user.
  • Exhibit experience in aligning business processes with MES functionalities and IT capabilities.
  • Design solutions that translate customer requirements into IT applications while troubleshooting technical challenges.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring effective scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Work within agile development frameworks.
  • Exhibit a willingness to travel and a proactive approach to learning, with technical skills in server, network, and infrastructure interpretation.
  • Possess technical skills in SQL products.
