About the Role

Our platform engineers design, build, and maintain the delivery infrastructure, systems, and processes that underpin technology transformation engagements. They lead the adoption of modern platforms and ways of working, driving innovation and excellence.

We're seeking hands-on platform engineers with a deep understanding of the Azure ecosystem to join our delivery teams on exciting digital programmes, working with clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, deploy, and manage cloud environments in Azure, leveraging commercial experience and expertise.
  2. Develop and maintain pipeline build/deploy tools, such as Azure DevOps, TFS, or Jenkins, to streamline delivery.
  3. Implement automation and scripting using tools like PowerShell, AZ CLI, Python, Bash, Ruby, or Groovy, to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  4. Utilize configuration management technologies like DSC, Puppet, Chef, SaltStack, or Ansible to ensure consistency and reliability.
  5. Monitor and log performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, Azure App Insights, New Relic, or Datadog.
  6. Stay up-to-date with common database and caching technologies, such as Azure SQL, CosmosDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, Memcache, or Redis.
  7. Develop knowledge of common programming languages used in modern web application development, such as C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Go, or PHP.
  8. Apply iterative/agile development methodologies and enable team delivery through technology.
  9. Bonus points for experience with other cloud platforms and technologies.
