Loch Fyne Oyster Bar, Restaurant & Deli is seeking a highly skilled and organized Executive Chef Assistant to join our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Chef in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Oversee inventory management, including stock ordering and rotation, to optimize profitability.
  • Deputize for the Head Chef in their absence, including organizing staff rotas to ensure efficient staffing levels.
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
  • Excellent food presentation skills and knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Experience in a similar environment working with fish and seafood, preferably with a HNC level qualification or equivalent.
