Our client, a prominent contractor, is actively seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator to support their expanding operations. The ideal candidate will oversee various projects, ranging from renovations to new constructions, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Directors and Senior Managers in promoting health and safety awareness across all project sites.
- Stay informed about current health and safety legislation.
- Conduct regular site inspections and assessments.
- Provide administrative assistance in the coordination and execution of health and safety policies, reporting to the operations director.
- Additional responsibilities may be discussed as needed.
Qualifications:
- NEBOSH certification is required.
- Possession of a valid driving license.
- Proficient in IT and computer skills.
- Experience in the construction industry is essential.
- A minimum of 1-3 years in a similar role is preferred.
- Proven track record in coordinating and implementing health and safety policies and procedures.
- Experience in preparing and executing RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements).
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: £30,000 - £45,000 (Negotiable based on experience).
- Generous holiday allowance.
