Role Overview:
We are in search of a highly qualified and seasoned Lead Production Technology Specialist to become part of our London team.

In this crucial position, you will take charge of defining the strategic direction for Production Technology and Production Engineering for the Ghana Subsurface, directly reporting to the Field Developments Manager.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the technical expert for flow assurance and optimization of gathering networks for deepwater projects in West Africa.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of integrated production systems, including long-term production choke analysis and the identification of optimization strategies.
  • Lead the development and maturation of intervention and workover opportunities.
  • Oversee the assessment, maturation, design, and execution of artificial lift strategies.
  • Provide critical Production Technology insights and analysis for projects, including subsea tie-backs, facility expansions, and debottlenecking efforts.
  • Contribute to well planning and execution, including reviewing completion designs.
  • Support M&A evaluations as necessary.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas sector.
  • Expertise in Prosper, GAP, and other analytical software.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and application of production technology and engineering in oil and gas reservoirs.
  • Proven proficiency in flow assurance and production chemistry.
  • Experience with subsea and deepwater projects.
  • Strong background in intelligent well completions.
  • Successful leadership experience in a Production Technology function.
  • Current knowledge of industry technologies and a robust network for accessing solutions.
  • Degree in Petroleum Engineering (Master's level preferred).
