About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hostel Manager to lead our Glen Nevis Youth Hostel team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service and quality in our hostel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Monitor and control budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager to achieve business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with local communities and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and personal license training.
