Logistics People is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Transport Operators to join our team on a flexible, temporary basis.


Our client is a leading name in the logistics sector, providing state-of-the-art vehicles that ensure a premium driving experience.


Requirements:
  • Minimum of 12 months experience in HGV Class 1 driving

Shift Details:
  • Monday - Friday Days: £16.47 per hour (including holiday pay)
  • Monday - Friday Nights: £17.59 per hour (including holiday pay)
  • Saturday - Sunday Days: £16.47 per hour (including holiday pay)
  • Sunday Days and Nights: £17.59 per hour (including holiday pay)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Driving ambient products that do not require temperature controls
  • Trunking goods between distribution centers
  • Delivering various products to retail locations
  • General haulage of diverse goods
  • Manual handling of items during loading and unloading
  • Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues
  • Maintaining accurate delivery records and logbooks in line with company policies

Applicants must possess a valid HGV 1/C+E License and demonstrate a solid background in HGV Class 1 driving.
