The starting salary for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience, along with an on-call allowance.

This is a mobile position covering various locations.

This is a full-time role requiring 37.5 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Key Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess at least one of the following qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 2 or higher, BTEC/City & Guilds, or equivalent.
  • Formal apprenticeship or craft training equivalent.
Additional requirements include:
  • A valid driving license.
  • Comfort with using technology to log maintenance tasks.
  • Availability for on-call duties.
  • Experience in the industry is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other technical teams.
Please note that background checks will be conducted for this position.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician with a Fabric Bias.
  • Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and wellbeing policies, as well as relevant technical guidance and statutory regulations.
  • Provide scheduled, reactive, and remedial maintenance services as directed by the maintenance planner or supervisor, ensuring operational standards are consistently met.
  • Assist with minor works management activities.
  • Perform routine repairs or minor projects, including carpentry, painting, general building maintenance, landscaping, and plumbing.
  • Maintain accurate site logbooks at all healthcare facilities as required.
  • Support the projects and construction team in executing minor capital works.
  • Conduct risk assessments prior to undertaking tasks and follow instructions within relevant work plans.
  • This role may also involve other maintenance tasks, including basic fabric, electrical, and general operational duties.
