About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Superdrug. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of retail professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets
- Manage and control stock levels, including ordering and receiving stock
- Monitor and control store expenses, including labor costs and inventory
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Provide coaching and development opportunities for team members
- Work closely with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives
Requirements
- Proven retail management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of retail key performance indicators, including sales, profit, and loss
