About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the execution of our ambitious business strategy, which is centered around Engineering.

Working closely with our Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for managing our engineering projects from inception to delivery. This will involve tracking and reporting on scope, schedule, and cost, as well as identifying and mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining stages, timelines, budgets, and milestones required by a multi-disciplined engineering team.
  • Work with the project team to track progress on a day-to-day basis, continually optimizing for quality, scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Utilize project management tools to assist with planning and reporting.
  • Identify and mitigate roadblocks or risks to project delivery or budget.
  • Build relationships with the Engineering Team, across Kinesys, and throughout the TAIT Group to ensure broad visibility of and engagement with team progress.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in an engineering environment and successfully delivering New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective systems and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate, gain commitment, and manage expectations.
  • Ability to make decisions and judgment calls based on experience.
  • Excellence mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality work and meeting customer expectations.
