Job Title: Quarry and Asphalt Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team at our Client's Halecombe Quarry and Asphalt Plant.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage the maintenance section, taking ownership of performance and quality, and achieving and maximizing the efficiency of the process.
  • Responsible for instilling an inclusive culture where people are treated with dignity and respect.
  • Proactive and hands-on in all maintenance activity, including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), defect and risk management, breakdowns, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and project engineering work.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mechanical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic systems knowledge.
  • Experience in crushing, screening, and other heavy plant equipment.
  • HNC/HND and/or recognized apprenticeship or BEng advantageous.
  • Ability to challenge people, hold them accountable for job completion, and quality of completion.
  • Proven computer literacy - familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally.
  • Flexible approach to ensure productivity is maximized.
  • Positive, proactive can-do attitude in dealing with your team and other stakeholders.
