As a Construction Site Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in executing the engineering strategy and framework for this dynamic project.
Key Responsibilities
In your role as a Construction Site Engineer , you will be responsible for:
- Utilizing GPS technology for precise site layout
- Overseeing the maintenance of surveying equipment, including tracking and testing protocols
- Interpreting and analyzing information from technical drawings, schedules, and specifications
- Creating as-built documentation and records for each component of the project, ensuring timely completion of Quality Check Sheets and Handover Documentation
- Keeping detailed and accurate records, including a Daily Diary, photographs, and notes from site discussions
- Compiling a thorough daily log of resources, encompassing labor, machinery, materials, subcontractors, and outputs.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for individuals who possess the following qualifications:
- A degree or HND in Civil Engineering or Construction
- Experience working on NEC projects, particularly in Highways or Utilities
- Strong communication skills to convey safe work system requirements effectively
- A valid driving license and CSCS Card
- Familiarity with the Permit to Dig System
