Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Field Service Engineer to provide technical support and maintenance services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visit client premises to carry out pre-planned service work and unplanned breakdown work in the UK and Europe.
  • Service and breakdown of machinery equipment, including fault finding and repair.
  • Liaise with clients in a courteous and professional manner, keeping them informed of travel arrangements and requirements while on site.
  • Complete required report forms within an acceptable time after returning from site.
  • Follow up on submitted reports to ensure actions are understood and completed.
  • Keep up to date with all expenses, reports, and latest machine updates through regular communication with the engineering team.
  • Ensure Quality and Safety are highest priority wherever you are working.
  • Contribute to the development of the company's service and maintenance capabilities through continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements
  • Willing to travel round the UK and Europe.
  • Ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • C&G/HNC qualified minimum.
  • Experience in service work, including fault finding on heavy industrial equipment.
  • Experience in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
