About the Role

Orion is seeking a skilled Mobile Maintenance Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our recycling facilities, balers, conveyors, and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
  • Install and troubleshoot complex systems, including wiring, control panels, and 3-phase systems
  • Work with a variety of industrial components, including motors, sensors, inverters, and relays
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and implement process improvements
Requirements
  • 18th Edition Certification
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical work, particularly with industrial components
  • Industry background in recycling, waste management, material handling, quarrying, or heavy industry
  • Proficiency in installation skills, including wiring and control panel building
