Position Overview
An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a Cleaning Operative to join the dedicated team within the Cardiac Surgery department. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the clinical environment of the Morris Ward.
Morris Ward accommodates 20 patients undergoing pre and post-operative care related to Cardiac Surgery.
This role requires close collaboration with team members and various departments within the Heart Services specialty.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinating with procurement to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Overseeing the management of storage areas, staff, and patient facilities to uphold a clean and organized environment.
- Assisting with ward logistics, including the movement of beds and the cleaning of patient areas.
- Maintaining equipment and the environment by liaising with relevant departments to ensure all medical and non-medical devices are in optimal condition and that necessary safety checks are performed.
- Handling incoming calls and directing inquiries as needed.
- Performing general administrative and clerical tasks when required.
