This organization plays a vital role in supplying energy to millions across the UK and North-Eastern US, with a strong commitment to environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster strategic partnerships with governmental agencies, research institutions, advocacy groups, and relevant professional organizations to safeguard the interests of the company.
  • Contribute to and influence innovative projects aimed at enhancing industry knowledge of EMF/EMC/RFI or acoustics, ensuring operational protection and efficiency.
  • Address complex technical inquiries from internal and external stakeholders under tight deadlines, often for inclusion in Environmental Impact Assessments.
  • Lead all discipline-specific elements of a Planning Application.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Asset Management frameworks, including investment protocols.
  • Exceptional communication skills across all levels of stakeholders.
  • Proficient technical report writing abilities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of acoustics or EMF/EMC/RFI issues related to transmission operations near public areas.
  • Thorough knowledge of statutory environmental impact requirements.
  • Experience in both technical and reputable risk management practices.
  • Membership in relevant professional organizations related to EMF (for EMF specialists) or MIOA (for acoustics specialists).
  • Master's degree in a relevant field and IAM Certificate.
