Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance and Grounds Manager to join our team at Praa Sands Holiday Park. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of the park's grounds and buildings to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grounds and Buildings Maintenance
    • Manage the grounds and buildings maintenance team to ensure the upkeep of the park is to the highest standards.
    • Oversee the maintenance of park facilities, including chalets, amenities, and infrastructure.
  • Site Development
    • Support new chalet and park developments across the park, including planning and project management.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless delivery of new developments.
  • Private Work and Part Exchanges
    • Manage and facilitate private work requests from owners, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
    • Work with the sales team to ensure part exchanges are conducted within guidelines and that ground and bramble areas are addressed.
  • Security and Operations
    • Ensure the security team operates within guidelines and addresses any security incidents.
    • Deputise for the Operations Manager in their absence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in maintenance and grounds management, preferably in a holiday park or similar environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
