Greenwell Gleeson is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the accounts department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain a cash flow forecast
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including accruals and prepayments
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation calculations
  • Prepare the monthly payroll and reconcile the nominal ledger
  • Provide financial support to other departments as needed
  • Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and prepare year-end accounts
  • Reconcile debtors and control accounts
  • Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in management accounts and financial reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with Xero
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, AAT, or QBE)
