Global Accounting Director

Abacus Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Global Accounting Manager to join their finance team in Northamptonshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting activities in several business entities within the organisation and managing the UK finance team.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review monthly financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage audit processes and serve as the primary point of contact for related queries and concerns.
- Identify areas for improvement in business practices and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead a senior team of finance professionals and foster effective communication across the organisation.
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to ensure alignment with company values and timescales.
The ideal candidate will possess strong business partnering skills, with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. Experience working in a fast-paced, global organisation with multiple entities and sites is highly desirable.
This role requires a high level of IT literacy, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and proactive, with a strong ability to work towards business deadlines and maintain relationships across the organisation.
