Alexander Associates Technical Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled SCO Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating planned outages, shutdowns, and site operations to ensure seamless execution and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the operation of the SCO system to ensure planned work is executed flawlessly.
- Lead and manage the entire process of planned outages and shutdowns, ensuring minimal disruption and compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct thorough reviews of method statements to ensure all work is carried out according to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
- Main point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates, building confidence, and ensuring that client needs and concerns are addressed promptly.
- Ensure all activities are compliant with safety regulations, giving clients confidence in our ability to manage complex shutdowns under scrutiny.
- Effectively communicate with all stakeholders involved, ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned with the shutdown process.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and senior leadership team.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders.
- Proven experience in managing planned outages, shutdowns, and site operations.
- Excellent project management skills, with a focus on safety and compliance.
- Experience in dealing with high-pressure situations and maintaining client confidence.
- Competence in preparing and delivering presentations to clients.
- Familiarity with the water industry is a plus, but not required.
