Road Freight Supervisor Job Overview

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Road Freight Supervisor to join their dynamic team in the Leicester area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the road freight team to ensure high performance and efficient operations.
  • Oversee day-to-day activities related to road freight, ensuring on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Ensure all import, export, and customs procedures are followed, resolving any issues or delays.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing timely and accurate updates on shipments and handling any queries or issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of shipments across multiple modes of transport.
  • Address any logistical challenges or operational disruptions promptly, ensuring minimal impact on service.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within road freight, with additional knowledge in import, export, and customs disciplines.
  • In-depth understanding of multi-modal freight, with road freight being essential.
