About the Role
The Greater Manchester Mental Health Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Central Manchester Home Based Treatment Team. As a Clinical Lead, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the delivery and development of the team, providing clinical leadership and expertise to ensure the highest standards of care for our patients.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the Home Based Treatment Team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services.
- Develop and implement evidence-based care pathways and treatment plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Collaborate with external agencies, including primary care, Drug and Alcohol services, and liaison psychiatry teams, to provide safe and effective care for patients.
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors, medical students, and other healthcare professionals, promoting professional development and excellence in care.
- Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement activities, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Engage in multidisciplinary teaching and development, sharing expertise and best practices with colleagues to improve care and services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives, working collaboratively with stakeholders to drive positive change and innovation.
