Job Title: Ambulance Care Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Ambulance Care Assistant to join our team at EMED Group. As an Ambulance Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and transportation services to our community.

About the Role:

As an Ambulance Care Assistant, you will be responsible for transporting patients to and from medical appointments, as well as between healthcare facilities. You will work closely with our team to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care and attention.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport patients to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities
  • Assist patients with lifting, securing, and helping them in and out of the ambulance
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their relatives/friends to ensure their needs are met
  • Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Requirements:
  • Valid UK manual driving license
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical fitness for patient handling and moving
  • Enhanced DBS check
