Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Operations Manager to join our team at Morgan Ryder Associates. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all electrical equipment and services at our manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance, service, repair, and upgrade of all electrical equipment necessary for manufacturing operations.
  • Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Support the procurement of electrical equipment and services, including high-voltage switching requirements and schedules.
  • Manage contractors and ensure they meet industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement engineering documentation, including permits to work, risk assessments, and training documentation.
  • Conduct Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) training for the maintenance team and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Purchase and manage electrical equipment, including high-voltage, low-voltage, variable speed drives, and programmable logic controllers.
  • Investigate and resolve electrical equipment failures and implement improvements to prevent future occurrences.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and training to electrical engineers and maintenance personnel.

Requirements:

  • Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
  • High-voltage qualification (AP15) or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of electrical equipment and power supply in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office tools.
