We are pleased to present an opportunity to join a reputable Facilities Management organization. We are currently seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to manage a portfolio of commercial properties across the London area. The ideal candidate will possess an electrical qualification (C&G / NVQ) and demonstrate a solid background in the maintenance of commercial facilities. This role requires mobility across various sites, where the engineer will perform planned and reactive maintenance, focusing primarily on electrical systems in common areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting Emergency Lighting checks
- Performing Fire Alarm Testing
- Managing Water Treatment processes
- Ensuring Statutory Compliance
- Executing PPM & Reactive maintenance on Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings, and Compressors
- Maintaining Air Conditioning systems including Air Handling Units and Fan Coil Units
- Resetting Chillers as needed
- Monitoring BMS Systems
- Keeping log books updated
- Escorting specialist subcontractors
- Assisting fellow engineers
- Providing technical support
- Limited plumbing and fabric work involved
Monday to Friday -
Hours: 08:00am to 17:00pm
Qualifications
- City & Guilds / NVQ in Electrical Installation / Engineering
- Ability to provide trade certificates (Essential)
- Demonstrated experience in commercial building maintenance
- Understanding of commercial maintenance practices
- Multi-skilled capabilities
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Willingness to work on a mobile basis across multiple sites
