Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Smith & Western. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our restaurant by leading a team of staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including inventory management, stock control, and health and safety procedures.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to develop and implement menus, manage food costs, and maintain high standards of food quality.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, customers, and suppliers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health and safety procedures.
