About the Role

As an Employer's Agent and Cost Management Specialist with Carriera Limited, you will play a crucial role in managing the cost of projects from initial design stages through to delivery and beyond. This will involve working closely with clients, including large housing associations and local authorities, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost management, with experience in managing projects through their entire lifecycle. You will be responsible for growing the employer's agent function, which will involve taking on team management responsibilities and developing strategies to increase revenue and improve client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the cost of projects from initial design stages through to delivery and beyond
  • Work closely with clients to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Grow the employer's agent function, including taking on team management responsibilities
  • Develop strategies to increase revenue and improve client satisfaction
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in cost management or other technical field
  • MRICS/MCIOB is beneficial
  • Ability to manage projects through their entire lifecycle
  • Pre and post contract experience is required
