**Job Summary**

In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the spectrum management, frequency coordination, and associated regulatory issues for the UK Skynet satellite fleet.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead the strategic planning of the SKYNET constellation frequency filings
  • Review and approve technical proposals from the Frequency Coordination Analyst & Project Administrator and other team members
  • Conduct analysis of new ITU filings, perform interference analysis, and monitor the progress of existing ITU filings
  • Ensure the SKYNET network is operated in accordance with agreements and relevant ITU / NATO regulations

**Requirements**

  • Undergraduate university degree in a relevant engineering or technical field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in satellite systems, including satellite design, operations, or engineering
  • In-depth knowledge in the use of ITU software provided to submit, progress, modify, and complete the ITU filing process
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences
  • Advanced organizational skills to facilitate straightforward decisions from complex situations
  • Familiarity with the ITU Radio Regulations, with experience in applying Articles 9 and 11 of the Radio Regulations
