Role Overview
These positions represent classic C-Suite consulting roles with hybrid working arrangements. You will have the opportunity to influence and oversee some of the most ambitious and intricate Supply Chain transformation initiatives within the Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Biotech, and Life Sciences sectors. As a Senior Manager in this practice, you will assist clients in shaping concepts and addressing complex challenges by fostering trust, advocacy, and confidence. Typical areas of client engagement will encompass:
- Procurement Strategy: Engaging in operational or transactional procurement throughout the buying lifecycle, including procurement strategy and supply chain strategy development.
- Digital Supply Chain: Implementing next-generation supply chain technologies such as Robotic Process Automation, cognitive automation, AI, Internet-of-Things (IoT), Blockchain, and Big Data analytics.
- Supply Chain Analytics: Developing analytics to enhance end-to-end supply chain visibility, including the integration of supply chain models with customer and pricing analytics.
- Manufacturing and Operational Excellence: Optimizing manufacturing processes at both the plant level and across the entire manufacturing network.
- Service and Asset Management Transformation: Overseeing the complete asset management lifecycle, including field force and service management transformations.
Candidate Profile
To excel in these roles, candidates must possess substantial experience in business change and transformation, particularly within the Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Life Sciences, or Biotech sectors. Your background may have been developed within a Top Tier Big 4 or similar global consulting organization, or you may currently be engaged in an internal change function within the Pharma or Life Sciences sectors at a strategic level. While expertise in all transformation areas is not mandatory, it is essential that your experience is focused on change and transformation, with a solid understanding of technology-enabled supply chain modifications. We are looking for individuals eager to engage in full lifecycle transformational projects, demonstrating a high degree of commercial acumen and the ability to see initiatives through to completion.
