We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Tax Manager to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a Group Tax Manager, you will play a key role in providing tax services and business advice to our clients, including small, fast-growing businesses and large corporate entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Portfolio Management
    • Own and manage a client portfolio with a higher level of client responsibility, overseeing your team's portfolios, and inputting to workflow planning.
  • Tax Services and Business Advice
    • Provide a range of tax services and business advice to a variety of clients, including tax compliance, tax advisory services, and exposure to tax advisory projects.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality tax services to our clients.
  • Professional Development
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest tax legislation and regulations, and provide training and development opportunities to your team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional tax services.

Requirements

  • Qualifications
    • CTA/ACA/ACCA/CA (or equivalent) qualified.
  • Experience
    • Previous corporate tax or mixed tax experience in a similar role within a practice environment is essential.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Strong technical knowledge and the ability to carry out research into complex areas of tax legislation.
