As a Field Service Technician within our Energy Field Service division, you will be essential in ensuring that our Energy Storage solutions are functioning optimally. These products are crucial in addressing the variability of renewable energy sources, such as wind and solar, to facilitate the shift towards a more sustainable electricity grid.

Your daily tasks will include conducting preventive maintenance, implementing upgrades, troubleshooting issues, and performing repairs, as well as overseeing commissioning activities across various sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all on-site technical operations related to the installation, commissioning, repair, and maintenance of our Energy facilities.
  • Diagnose and analyze root causes of issues, both remotely and on-site.
  • Serve as the primary contact for contractors.
  • Evaluate recurring problems and relay insights to the engineering teams.
  • Plan, organize, and manage your own technical assignments.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a technician in the electrical engineering sector.
  • Familiarity with Low and Medium Voltage electrical systems; High Voltage experience is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work autonomously, demonstrating motivation and a proactive approach.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including potential last-minute trips requiring overnight stays.
  • Availability to work outside of regular hours, including weekends and public holidays, as necessary.
  • Fluency in English is required.
