About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled DV Cleared Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and prioritizing network issues, addressing technical problems, and collaborating with vendors to resolve security vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and prioritize network issues to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Address technical problems and interact with vendors to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot using lab setups to identify and resolve complex network issues.
  • Manage escalations and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve security vulnerabilities and improve network security.
  • Participate in service review meetings to recommend improvements and ensure alignment with company goals.

Requirements:

  • 2nd/3rd line NOC/SOC support experience.
  • Strong expertise with Cisco networking (Nexus/Catalyst).
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and deep knowledge of OSI and TCP/IP.
  • Proficient in BGP, OSPF, RIP, EIGRP, Ethernet, VLANs, Port Aggregation, and 802.1Q trunking.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of Cisco ACI, Hyperflex, UCS, Firepower, ASA, ISE.
  • Familiar with BGP EVPN VXLAN, IPSec/SSL VPNs.
  • Experience with Wireshark and Juniper networking.
  • Understanding of ITIL practices.
  • Certifications: Required: Cisco CCNA
  • Preferred: Cisco CCNP, Juniper JNCIA
