Principal Engineer

Kier Group is seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to join our team in Loughton, London.
As a key member of our engineering consultancy division, Kier Professional Services (KPS), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions, technical advice, and engineering support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Design and checking of Permanent and Temporary Works above and below ground in various materials.
- Delivery of alternative solutions and value engineering to enhance Kier's reputation and competitive position.
- Tender stage and bid-winning support, focusing on buildability, efficiency, and innovation.
- Technical assessment and review of 3rd party designs to ensure compliance with client and Kier requirements.
- Management and mentorship of junior KPS team members.
- Chartered engineer or willingness to become chartered.
- Interest in Permanent and Temporary Works Design or relevant experience.
- Full UK driving license.
