Job Overview

The Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director of Nursing Medicine Division to join their team. As a key member of the Divisional Director of Nursing's team, you will play a crucial role in leading and developing the nursing services within the Medicine Division.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Developing and implementing nursing strategies to improve patient outcomes and experience.
  • Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Providing clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of the Trust's nursing strategy.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience in a senior clinical nursing role.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of nursing practice and standards.
