At Fisher Jones Greenwood LLP, we are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Commercial Property Solicitor to join our dynamic team. Our Commercial Property team has significant scope and experience in dealing with all aspects of commercial real estate, from complex negotiations to completion of all aspects of property-related transactional work.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial property law, demonstrate excellent negotiation skills, and have a proven track record of managing complex property transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Management: Oversee and manage the sale, purchase, lease, and development of commercial properties.
  • Client Consultation: Provide expert legal advice to clients, ensuring their interests are protected in all property transactions.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence, including reviewing property titles, conducting searches, and advising on potential legal risks.
  • Document Preparation: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, agreements, and other legal documents related to commercial property.
  • Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with current laws and regulations, advising clients on legal updates and implications.
  • Dispute Resolution: Handle disputes related to commercial property, including litigation if necessary.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments within the firm, including corporate, finance, and litigation teams, to provide comprehensive legal support.
  • Business Development: Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and retain existing ones, including networking events and marketing initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be a qualified solicitor or legal executive with a minimum 4 years' experience in Commercial Property.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and client-facing skills.
  • Be confident in managing multiple priorities and working under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Show a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
