Mimecast is on the lookout for motivated sales professionals to enhance their UK Public Sector New Business Sales team. The perfect candidate will possess a track record of generating new business opportunities within the UK Public Sector landscape, particularly through Channel partnerships, targeting areas such as Central Government, Local & Regional Government, Public Health & Care Sector, Blue Light Services, Higher Education, and Public Housing Associations.

  • Recognize and strategize sales opportunities within designated Public Sector accounts
  • Execute plans to introduce solutions into new accounts and state purchasing agreements
  • Consistently meet new business acquisition and upselling objectives
  • Collaborate with the Partner/Channel Development team to create and implement account strategies
  • Establish and nurture relationships with potential business clients
  • Oversee business administration by producing Key Performance Indicators reports and maintaining CRM accuracy
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance relevant knowledge and skills

Qualifications:

  • Proven success in acquiring new clients and managing customer relationships in a dynamic sales environment
  • Extensive experience and connections within the UKI Public Sector sector
  • Comprehensive understanding of Public Sector contracts, procurement cycles, and purchasing processes
  • Experience in selling through Channel partners
  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, Force Management, Challenger, and Spin Sales Process
