About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Treasurer to join our Board at Visionary - linking local sight loss charities LTD. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial stability and growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic financial guidance and oversight to the Board
  • Manage the Centre's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices
  • Collaborate with the Management Team to achieve organizational goals
Requirements
  • Proven experience in financial management, preferably in a charity or non-profit setting
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero accounting software and procedures
  • Ability to empathize with the needs of people living with sensory impairments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
