We're seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our IT Development & Solution team within Connells Group. As a member of a Scrum team, you'll need a unique blend of technical skills, business knowledge, and interpersonal skills to effectively analyse, communicate, and collaborate across agile, cross-functional, business-aligned teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into actionable technology deliveries.
- Own the analysis and understanding of technology requirements for the business area you support, using techniques such as interviews, surveys, and workshops.
- Organize and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it's clear and concise, and aligned with the objectives of the business area you support.
- Work closely with Software Engineers, participate in sprint planning sessions and daily stand-up meetings, provide guidance on requirements and updates on any issues encountered.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) activities, defining test scenarios, coordinating with end-users, and conducting UAT sessions.
- Support various agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and demonstrations.
- 3+ years' experience working as an Agile Business Analyst as part of a fast-paced software engineering team.
- Understanding of and experience with SAFe and Scrum.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Dev Ops, Jira Software, and Confluence.
