We are currently in search of a Mechanical Technician/Engineer to support our operations in the water production sector on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting routine maintenance on various mechanical assets across multiple sites.
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical failures to minimize service interruptions.
- Performing scheduled maintenance in accordance with company protocols to enhance equipment reliability.
- Offering technical guidance to team members and assisting in the training of new technicians.
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship with substantial experience in mechanical systems. NVQ or C&G Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- Experience with large industrial machinery, particularly pumps within the utility sector, is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations is essential.
- Physical capability to work in confined spaces, with successful completion of necessary training.
- A valid driving license is mandatory, and all required tools and equipment will be provided.
