Position Overview

Shepherd Stubbs is seeking two dedicated Electrical Technician Assistants to join our team on a permanent basis.

Company Focus

Our organization specializes in providing renewable energy solutions for both commercial and residential clients throughout the UK. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the electrical setup of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems and Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Networks across various industrial and commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Technician Assistant, you will:

  • Collaborate with experienced electricians on-site, requiring flexibility to travel and occasionally stay overnight near project locations.
  • Assist in the installation of wiring systems, enclosures, and electrical equipment under the guidance of a qualified professional.
  • Ensure compliance with the National Working Rules for the Electrical Contracting Industry, the current IEE Regulations for Electrical Installations, and the Construction Industry Safety Regulations.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle for transportation to designated meeting points.
  • An ECS card or CSCS card.
  • An NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Installation (or an equivalent qualification).
  • Completion of relevant further education courses related to electrical training, even if not all examinations have been passed.
Employment Details

This is a permanent position with opportunities for overtime. Compensation can be structured on a weekly or monthly basis, and the package includes an annual bonus scheme and pension contributions.
