Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to join our team at Veolia Water Technologies. As a Service Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing top-notch service to our customers in the Industrial market. Your primary responsibility will be to perform on-site corrective/preventive maintenance and offer after-sales technical and commercial support for our customers' water treatment equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers.
- Observe, abide by, and enforce the Company's and client's Health & Safety policies.
- Provide on-site corrective/preventive maintenance and offer after-sales technical and commercial support.
- Carry out commissioning work.
- Timely completion and submission of risk assessments, work reports, time sheets, and all other documentation.
- Timely completion of site tasks and activities as required.
- Propose and undertake any relevant training approved by your line manager.
- Gather site information and compile site log-books for customers, maintain, and audit.
Requirements:
- Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering qualification.
- A full UK driving license is required.
- Good communication skills, punctual, presentable, and willing to learn and develop.
- Knowledge and experience of the company products, applications, and markets is desirable.
- Knowledge and experience in water treatment is desirable.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Passionate about providing a first-class service to our customers.
- Able to handle challenging conversations with customers and find a resolution.
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written, with the versatility to communicate at all levels in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrable experience of having built strong working relationships both internally and externally.
- A good level of IT competency.
- Able to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks.
