About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Paint Sprayer to join our team at E-PPL Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality paint finishes on our clients' vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Remove rust and debris from metal surfaces, and clean work areas to ensure a smooth painting process.
  • Protect parts not intended for painting or coating using suitable materials.
  • Fill cavities and dents with putty to achieve a smooth surface finish.
  • Mix paint according to specifications and select the correct coating liquid to achieve the desired color.
  • Apply paint using a sprayer or brush, ensuring a high-quality finish.
  • Inspect painted units for quality and note any defects, such as runs, fisheyes, or unpainted areas.
  • Maintain and use spray guns safely and ensure all tools are in good working order.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized, and adhere to all safety and health regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Spray Painter in a professional workshop environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Flexibility to work under pressure and adapt to changing workloads.
  • Pass a practical trade test to demonstrate proficiency and skill.
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly pay rate of £21 per hour.
  • Rotating shifts Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
  • Weekend overtime may be available.
  • Ongoing contract paid through a limited company or umbrella company, outside of IR35.
